The most exciting aspect to steelhead fly fishing is the experience of "The Grab". The term has become a verbal noun for the sport describing and giving action to much more than just a steelhead take, or hit on a fly, but more of an adrenaline experience that defines the sport of fishing for steelhead on a swinging fly.

Some steelhead fly fishing purest have even gone as far as removing the hook point on their flies and fishing just for the grab.

Grab Flies was born out of respect for the mighty steelhead, and with creative innovation for the evolving gear used in the sport.

We offer flies that have no permanently attached hooks "Grab Flies".

• Flies where the hook is added using a fast snap that releases the hook before you lose the fly on a snag, but not on a steelhead.
• Allows you to change hooks when they are dull
• Allows you to change the color and type of hook
• Allows you to change articulated tail pieces (add and/or subtract different fly sections) to make larger or smaller flies and with same or different color combinations.
